An economist by training, I spent the first six years of my career
in marketing. For the next 20 years I held senior positions in public
relations consultancy.
I have worked across most business areas for both large and small
companies. However, my main experience covers electronics, engineering,
food and textiles. Activities for clients include press and public
relations, market research, new product development, direct mail,
advertising and sales promotion.
Within the area of PR, I have developed and implemented fully costed
programmes and worked on product PR, corporate PR, employee relations,
crisis PR and acquisitions.
